Free AMRAP timer with round counter
AMRAP means as many rounds as possible: you get a fixed time and complete as many rounds of a circuit as you can. Gym Timer Pro's AMRAP timer runs the clock and lets you tap once per round, so you never lose count.
How an AMRAP works
You pick a circuit, for example 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups and 15 air squats, and a time cap such as 20 minutes. Then you cycle through the circuit, resting only when you need to. Your score is the number of rounds (plus any extra reps) you finish before the clock hits zero.
Because the score is simple, AMRAPs are a good way to measure progress: repeat the same workout a month later and try to beat your rounds.
How to set up an AMRAP in Gym Timer Pro
- Open AMRAP from the home screen.
- Set the Time Cap from 1 to 60 minutes. 20 minutes is the default.
- Tap Start Timer. The clock counts down and shows the time left.
- Tap the screen once every time you finish a round. The big "+1 round" target is easy to hit with sweaty hands.
- When time is up, you see your rounds and time, and can tap Save Workout to log it.
